Looking for eligible candidates for the following post of Consultants on Contract basis under World Bank Assisted Integrated Disease Surveillance Project (2004-10) at IDSP, NICD, Delhi:

1. Microbiologist - 1 Post
Essential Qualifications:
1. Medical Graduate with PG Degree/Diploma (preferably in Microbiology, Virology, Pathology & other lab sciences)
2. Medical Graduate with 2 years experience in laboratory sciences
3. M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology
Experience: Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Medical Microbiology, Experience of working in Public Health systems, implementation of Laboratory quality assurance systems, assessing and organizing training programs would be desirable
Remuneration:
Medical Graduate : Maximum Rs. 26,000/- per month (consolidated)
Non-Medical Graduate: Maximum Rs. 20,000/- per month (consolidated)
Age: 45 years or below

2. Consultant (Procurement) - 1 Post
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Post Graduate, minimum 10 years of planning and organizing procurement of goods through International and
National Competitive Bidding; experience in handling projects supported by the World Bank.
Remuneration: Maximum Rs.26,000/- per month (consolidated)
Age: 60 years or below.

3. Data Manager - 1 Post
Essential Qualifications & Experience: Post Graduate Degree/PG Diploma in IT/Computer Science or BE IT/Electronics with minimum 3 years experience of IT data management in a Health/Social Sector. Desirable:
Experience in web designing & software programming.
Remuneration: Maximum Rs.16,000/- per month (consolidated)
Age: below 40 years.
Selection Procedure:
Eligible candidates fulfilling the above mentioned criteria may appear for walk-in-interview for no. 2&3 on 2nd March 2009 & for no.1 on 3rd March’09 at 9:30 a.m. at IDSP Unit, NICD, Delhi alongwith a resume, original certificates and a copy of certificates. Registration will be done between 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. only

(i) This appointment will be on contract basis, the experience would not be considered as Government Service and cannot be claimed for seeking permanent service.
