Bharat Electronics Limited is a Navratna Company, which has carved a niche for itself as a
multi-Unit, multi-product organization in the field of professional electronics.
BEL requires the following outstanding, experienced professionals for its BANGALORE
Unit:


1. Deputy Manager (Material Mgt.) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 13000-350-18250

2. Assistant Manager (Material Mgt.) : 02 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.10750-300-16750

3. Medical Officer : 02 posts for 5 years only, Pay Scale : Rs.8600-250-14600


Pay scales are due for revision w.e.f. 01.01.2007.

*The post at Sl.No. 3, i.e Medical Officer, is on a Short Term basis of 5 years.


QUALIFICATION
Sl.No.1 & 2: Candidates with two years full time MBA in Finance (No dual specialization) or
ICWAI may apply for the above posts. Additional qualification of LL.B will be preferred.
Sl.No.3 : Candidates with MBBS. Additional qualification of Associate Fellow of Industrial
Health will be desirable.

Candidates for the posts at Sl. No. 1 & 2, should have the following post qualification
experience as an executive in the field of Central Excise, Service Tax & Customs / Foreign
Trade Policy & Procedures

a. Clearance of excisable goods and maintenance of statutory records.
b. Filing of periodical returns under Central Excise & Service Tax.
c. Knowledge of classification of goods and ITC (HSN)
d. CENVAT credit under Central Excise/ Service Tax
e. Procedures for import & export/re-export of goods
f. Refund & duty drawback Claims with Customs & Central Excise/ Service tax authorities
g. Knowledge of legal drafting and adjudication procedures with various appellate authorities
as well as attending Personal Hearing.
h. Obtaining and closing of various types of licences such as Advance Authorization, EPCG,
DFIA, SFIS, DEPB, Special import licences etc.
i. Should have current updated knowledge of the Customs, Excise, Service Tax
rules/regulations and Foreign Trade Policy & Procedure.
Candidates should possess good communication skills to liaise with Customs, Excise and
JDGFT authorities.
Candidates for all the above posts should be conversant in local language (Kannada).


RESERVATION / RELAXATION:
Reservation / Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD will be as per Government directives.

PAY DETAILS:
In addition to Basic Pay, other allowances like Dearness Allowance, HRA, CCA,
Executive Performance Incentive, Conveyance reimbursement, LTA, PDA, reimbursement of
medical expenses, vehicle loan at subsidized rate of interest, interest free multipurpose advance,
interest subsidy on housing loan, Group Insurance, PF, Gratuity, etc as per Company rules will be
part of the remuneration package.

MODE OF APPLICATION:
Applications of General / OBC candidates should be accompanied by a crossed Demand
Draft drawn on any Scheduled Bank (preferably State Bank of India) for Rs. 300/- (DD of Rs. 50/-in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates) in favour of Bharat Electronics Limited, Bangalore. Candidates working in PSUs / Govt. organizations should submit the application through proper channel or produce No Objection Certificate at the time of the interview.

advertisement and send the applications through post/ courier, superscribing on the envelope the post applied for. The following documents should compulsorily be enclosed:

i) Self attested copy of SSLC/Matriculation Certificate (proof of age)
ii) Self attested copies of Marks cards for having passed all semesters / years of MBA (Fin) /
ICWAI/ MBBS / Associate Fellow of Industrial Health.
iii) Degree certificate
iv) Certificate from the previous employer regarding relevant post qualification experience.
v) Caste / Disability certificate (if applicable) and other relevant certificates.

GENERAL:
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test/ interview. Such candidates will be
reimbursed to and fro train fare on production of the railway ticket receipts, as per their
entitlement in the Company.

Candidates who are selected for the post of Medical Officer will be required to reside in
Company’s quarters. These vacancies are identified to be filled up by external candidates only,
