Apponitments of Group ‘C’ Technical and other Ex-Cadre Post On Contract Basis In Polytechnics Under Dtte

Applications are invited from eligible persons for appointment to the following Group ‘C’ Technical and other Ex-cadre post on contractual basis in various disciplines at Govt. Polytechnics under the Directorate of Training & Technical Education on payment of basic pay at the lowest level of the pay scale plus DA & Dearness pay as per Govt. of India instructions: -

1. Workshop/ Lab Attendant : 13 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.3050-4590, Interview on : 06/10/2008 at 10.00 A.M. to 2.00 P.M.
2. Librarian : 05 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.5000-8000, Interview on : 08/10/2008 at 10.00 A.M. to 2.00 P.M.
3. Workshop Instructor/ Instrument repairer : 09 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.5000-8000, Interview on : 10/10/2008 at 10.00 A.M. to 2.00 P.M.

Age: 18-27 years plus relaxation as per rule. However, Competent authority may relax the age requirement provided the candidate is below 60 years and has sound experience/qualification in the concerned field.

Appointment to the above posts is purely a stopgap arrangement & will be for a period of one year or until these posts are filled up on a regular basis, whichever is earlier. The appointment can be terminated at any time. The qualification for the above posts shall be strictly as per recruitment rules.
