BHEL, the country's premier Electrical Engineering organization and one of the
NAVRATNA PSUs, catering to core sectors of Indian economy viz Power
Generation, Transmission, Industry, Transportation, Telecommunication and
renewable Energy, requires experienced Civil Engineers for its Power Sector-
Northern Region having Sites in India and abroad (mainly for its overseas
projects). The requirement is given below:


Requirement
1 Manager/Dy. Manager: 8 Posts
2 Sr. Engineer : 4 Posts

QUALIFICATION:
Full time B.E./B.Tech. in Civil discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate
from an Institution recognized by AICTE (50% aggregate for SC/ST candidates).

UPPER AGE LIMIT: As on 01.09.2008 :

SR.ENGINEER 32 YEARS(upper age limit) 5 YEARS(experience)
DY.MANAGER 36 YEARS 9 YEARS
MANAGER 39 YEARS 12 YEARS


RELAXATION
Maximum age limit is relaxed by 2 years for candidates with Post Graduate
Degree.
Relaxation for SC/ST/ OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/ Disabled candidates shall be
as per Govt. Directives. Age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy
Layer), 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for Physically Challenged
(Locomotor) or Hearing Impairment candidates. Reservation and Relaxation for
Ex-Servicemen will be as per extant Govt. Rules. Upper age limit is relaxable by
5 years for the candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of
Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
The definition of Locomotor Disability and Hearing Impairment for Physically
Challenged candidates is as per ‘The Persons with Disabilities (Equal
Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995’.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
The required work experience should be with a reputed organization engaged in
construction of power plants. Experience in civil construction works in projects of
Rupees Five crores and above will be considered. The experience shall be of at
least one of the following fields:-
• Pile & Pile Cap construction works
• Structural Steel Fabrication & Erection work of at least 1000 MT in one job
• Construction of Chimney /Natural draft Cooling tower using slip form
technique
• Construction of RCC multi-storied buildings
• Experience in execution of Coal Handling Plant/Ash Handling Plant/Water
System/Fuel Oil Handling System
PAY SCALE AND SALARY GRADES:
GRADE DESIGNATION PAY SCALE (IDA-PATTERN)

E3 Dy.Manager 16000-640-20800**
E4 Manager 17500 -700-22300**

**The pay scales are due for revision w.e.f 01.01.2007


In addition to pay and Industrial DA, incumbents will be eligible for other benefits
such as HRA/company assisted accommodation, PF, Gratuity, Leave Travel
Concession, Leave encashment, Medical facilities, Conveyance reimbursement,
Plant Performance Payment, site benefits etc. admissible as per company rules.
PROCESSING FEE:
A crossed demand draft of Rs.250/- for General and OBC candidates in favour of
“Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.”, payable at NOIDA should be accompanied with
the application form. No processing fee is applicable in case of SC/ST &
Physically Challenged candidates.

Educational Consultants India Limited invites application for Consultants/ Research Assistants/ Investigator for Mid Day Meal scheme of Govt. of India.


The National Programme of Nutritional Support to Primary Education (NSPE), popularly known as the Mid-Day Meal Scheme, is one of the major initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India to achieve Universalisation of Elementary Education in the country. With the extension of Mid-Day Meal Programme to Upper Primary Stage, Mid-Day Meal Programme is now one of the largest Programme of Govt. of India. This Programme, therefore, requires close monitoring and evaluation through internal and external monitoring, supervision, guidance, and integration of various activities at all levels based on the advise of experts in the area of Planning, Monitoring, Supervision, Evaluation, Impact Studies, Documentation, Nutrition, Inclusive Education for Children, Media etc.
A National Support Group to support the Scheme has been established under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) by Educational Consultants India Limited (Ed.CIL) to perform these vital tasks. Ed.CIL wishes to engage the services of highly experienced and qualified professionals as Consultants and Research Assistants/Investigators for National Support Group, purely on contract basis, to undertake assignments in the following areas:

1. Consultant (Plan Monitoring) : 01 post
2. Consultant (Finance & Accounts) : 01 post
3. Consultant (Management Information System) : 01 post
4. Consultant (Research & Evaluation) : 01 posts
5. Research Assistants/ Investigators (Monitoring & MIS) : 04 posts


GENERAL INFORMATION

(i) Engagement of Consultants and Research Assistants/Investigators will be on full time basis and their place of work will be in Delhi.
(ii) Experience and qualification may be relaxed in case of candidates otherwise found possessing adequate work experience in the related fields/disciplines.
(iii) The work of consultants and Research Assistants/Investigators involves providing relevant technical support and assistance at National and State Levels with extensive travel, documentation and communication skills.

REMUNERATION
The range of remuneration for the posts of consultants and Research Assistants/Investigators is given below. The remuneration to be offered for these posts will be within the given range, commensurate with the qualifications and experience of an individual candidate:

(a) Consultant - Rs.14,150/- to Rs.24,450/- per month
(b) Research Assistant/ - Rs. 8,100/- to 16,250/- per month Investigator

The above range of the Consultancy fee/Remuneration are on consolidated basis and is inclusive of all allowances etc.
