Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd., (UJVNL), Dehradun, is wholly owned undertaking of the Government of Uttarakhand and is a professionally run hydropower development and generation utility. Currently, UJVNL is engaged in modernization of its old projects with international inputs and developing number of green site large hydroelectric projects ranging upto 480 MW capacity. The growth generated by such projects, large investments and project activity provides challenging opportunity for the competent and performing engineers in the growing field of hydropower. UJVNL is a self sustaining Utility and promises to be one amongst leading hydropower companies.

UJVNL wishes to recruit following positions of Engineers :-

1.Dy. General Manager (Civil)
16400-450-20000
B.Sc.(Engg.)/ B.Tech/B.E./ in Civil Engineering from a University / recognized Institute with 60% marks .
15 years post qualification Experience, after training, if any. Out of 15 years, 3 years should be in the Scale of Rs. 12000-375-16500/14300-400-18300 (CDA)/Rs. 14500-350-18700/16000-400-20800 (IDA) or equivalent Scale OR
6 years should be in the Scale of Rs. 10000-325-15200 (CDA)/13000-350-18250 (IDA) or equivalent Scale


2.Executive Engineer (Civil)

B.Sc.(Engg.)/ B.Tech/B.E./ in Civil Engineering from a University / recognized Institute with 60% marks.
07 years post qualification experience after training, if any, in the scale of Rs. 8000-275-13500 (CDA)/10750-300-16750 (IDA) or equivalent Scale.

Relaxation of 03 and 05 years in age limit will be admissible to candidates belonging to OBC, SC/ST category respectively. Relaxation will be subject to production of valid certificate issued from competent authority of State of Uttarakhand.

Departmental candidates who meet the above eligibility criteria may also apply.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. Hands on working experience in a computerized environment is essential.
2. The candidate must possess fair knowledge of usages of spoken and written Hindi and English.
3. Other things being equal, preference will be given to persons having experience of working in Uttarakhand.
4. The candidates serving in Central/State Government Deptt./Public Sector Undertaking shall be required to submit their application through proper channel or produce NOC at the time of interview, which will also incorporate that there is no vigilance/disciplinary case pending or under contemplation against the individual.
5. UJVNL will not be responsible for applications lost in transit. No correspondence/enquiry in this regard will be entertained.
6. Applications found incomplete in any respect shall be rejected.
7. Any lobbying/canvassing would disqualify the candidates.
8. Mere fulfilling the job specifications shall not entitle a candidate for being called for interview.
9. In case of meritorious and deserving candidates, relaxation of age could be considered.
10. Copy of Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority of State of Uttarakhand must be attached in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC Category.
11. Any legal proceeding in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and/or an application in response thereto can be instituted only in Dehradun and the Courts/Tribunal/Forum at Dehradun only shall have the sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try such cause/dispute.
