The Central Council for Research in Ayurveda & Siddha, an autonomous organization, Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The Council is an apex body in the country for the formulation, co-ordination, development and promotion of Research on scientific lines in Ayurveda and Siddha. Research areas include literary and fundamental research, drug research, clinical research including neutraceutical and cosmoceutical research bio-instrumentation and RCH research. The research is executed through peripheral institutes located all over India having an annual budgetary allocation of Rs.40.00 crores aprox. The Council invites applications from suitable candidates as per requirements for the following post:
1. Name of the Post: Accountant
No. of vacancies: 1 (UR) – To be filled on deputation basis
Age: Maximum 35 years and below as on 1st January of the recruitment year.
Scale of Pay: Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200/- (Rs.6500-200-10500 – pre-revised)
Educational & other qualifications:
Essential:
a) Graduate of a recognized University.
b) Pass in SAS examination of the CAG of India.
c) About 5 years experience in an Audit Office/Department of Central/State Government/Public Undertaking etc.
d) By deputation from the grade of UDC/Selection Grade Clerks/Accountant from the Indian Audit and Accounts Department (Civil/P&T, Railways etc.). The deputation will initially for a period of one year which may be extendable upto three years depending on the performance.
GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE SERVICE:
1. The educational qualification may be relaxed in deserving cases.
2. The eligibility of candidate will be determined as on date of advertisement.
3. Age relaxation is admissible as per rules. The candidate should not have crossed the age of 56 years as on 1.1.2008.
4. Applications are obtainable in person or by post by request with a stamped Rs.5/- self-addressed envelope (23 x 10 cms.) giving the name of the post and advertisement No. The application form can also be down loaded from the Council’s website www.ccras.nic.in
5. The applications form for the above posts are to be submitted to CCRAS by 12.01.2009 through registered post/speed post. The applications received after due date will not be considered under any circumstances.
6. Persons should submit their applications through proper channel along with Vigilance Clearance Certificate and Annual Confidential Reports for the preceding five years.
7. Candidates called for interview will be paid 2nd Class railway fare to and fro by shortest route as per rules on production of Railway Tickets.
8. The persons belonging to SC/ST Community must submit the proof along with the application.
9. The Council reserves the rights to reject the candidature of any candidate without assigning any reason and may call for interview to short-listed candidates.
10. On the top of the envelope, the name of the post applied for should be mentioned.
11. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
