Steel Authority of India Limited – IISCO Steel Plant is looking for suitable candidates for
filling up 4 (Four) posts for Computer & Information Technology (C&IT) Department at Burnpur
in the state of West Bengal.

Eligibility:
BE / B.Tech. in IT with minimum 65% marks in aggregate (50% marks for SC/ST Candidates).
Applicant should have knowledge of C++, JAVA, DBMS.


Age:
Born not earlier than October 1, 1978 (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3years for OBC candidates).


Pay Scales :
Rs.10750-4%-16750/- (E-1). (Minimum Basic of Rs.10,750/-. Gross emoluments
approx. Rs.25000/- per month).
GENERAL CONDITIONS :
1. Candidates will be required to appear for Group Discussion and / or interview at centers to be
intimated subsequently. Short-listing of the eligible candidates will be done in case large numbers of candidates apply.
2. Applicant should be of sound physique and free from any medical ailment. Appointment of
selected candidates will be subject to their passing the Company’s Medical Examination as per
standard laid down under SAIL’s Medical & Health Policy.
3. Other benefits offered presently by the Company include Company Accommodation or House
Rent Allowance, Provident Fund, Gratuity, Medical facilities etc. as per rules.
4. Reservation/Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates will be provided as per Presidential
Directives.
5. Candidates employed in Govt./Semi-Govt./Public Sector Undertakings should apply through
Proper Channel / should enclose NOC from present employer.

HOW TO APPLY
Applications in the prescribed format should be typed / neatly handwritten and sent in a sealed
envelope superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR MANAGER
(C&IT)” by ORDINARY POST only to General Manager (P&A), SAIL – IISCO Steel
Plant, MD’s Office, 7 The Ridge, Burnpur-713325 (West Bengal) so as to reach within 10
days from the date of publication of the advertisement. Applications sent by other means
shall not be accepted. SAIL – IISCO Steel Plant will not be responsible for delay / loss in
transit of applications. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected and no
correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Applicants are required to submit
attested copies of certificates regarding age, caste, qualification, knowledge and work
experience along with the application. Original certificates may not be sent with the
application.
Applications not accompanied by copies of relevant certificates, will be rejected. A nonrefundable
Demand Draft (DD)/Banker’s Cheque of Rs.500/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST
candidates) drawn on State Bank of India in favour of “SAIL – IISCO STEEL PLANT”
payable at Burnpur should be attached along with the application. No other financial
instrument is acceptable. Applications not accompanied by processing fee will be
summarily rejected.
