Employees State Insurance Corporation invites application from Indian citizen of Lower Division Clerks in the Tamilnadu region of ESI Corporation.

Lower Division Clerk : 66 posts (UR-52, OBC-12),

Age : 18-27 years as on 15.12.2008,

Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.1900,


Qualification required :
i)Higher Secondary Pass / 12th standard or equivalent
(ii) Knowledge of typewriting with a speed of 30/25 words per minute in English/ Hindi respectively.
(iii) working knowledge of computer including use of Office Suites and database.

Application Fee : Demand Draft of Rs.100/- (No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex.SM/ Departmental candidates) drawn on State Bank of India in favour of Additional Commissioner, ESI Corporation, Chennai, payable at the Chennai.

Selection Process : Written exam of one paper of 3 hours duration of objective type for 200 marks having 4 parts
(i) English Language
(ii) General Intelligence & General Aptitude
(iii) Numerical Aptitude
(iv) General Awareness. Those who qualifiy will be called for Skill Test in tpewriting/ knowledge of computer etc.

Application in the prescribed application form may be submitted in an envelope super scribing "Application for the post of LDC" at the following address :

Application should be send with two copies of recent passport size photographs duly attested by a Group-"A"/ Group-"B"/ Gazetted Officer with one photograph pasted on the application form. and Attested copies of certificates and testimonials etc.

The application and the other documents should be arranged in the following order one below the other and tightly tagged or stapled on the left hand side top corner : Addional Photograph / Application Form/ Attested copies of certificates/ Self-Addressed envelope. DD should not be stapled, it should be clipped or pinned at the top of the application form.
